Before (2008) / After (2018) the tramway in the 19th arrondissement of Paris that was built there in 2010. The rows of car parking spaces on both sides of the boulevard were removed to make room for the tramway. A cycling path was made at the left of the tramway on the large sidewalk.

The vast majority of people will be walking or cycling to this supermarket in inner Amsterdam, so there is no car parking outside but plenty of cycle parking, along with a mini playground and football pitch. A much better use of space for the community than half a dozen car parking spaces.
