#Traveller Sophont of the day: the Ormine of Akhlare (Dark Nebula 1313).
Despite often being annoyed by the short-sighted, rushed and sloppy nature of humaniti, humans are value members of the Gerontocracy of Ormine.

My take on the Llellewyloly of Junidy (Spinward Marches 3202) – more commonly known as the 'Dandelions.'
One of the most interesting Sophonts in Traveller canon in my opinion, and delightfully scrunkly fellows!

I've made the case in the past that the Oberth was meant to be 240 meters long, rather 120 meters – scaling by the docking collar added as a decal during TNG's run gives us that figure, which also makes the windows match the Refit's in size.

The blue 'muzzle flash' they have is spot-on, that's for sure!
I think the reason for that feedback is the different angles the bolts are shown relative to the camera; in the below the bolts are always the same, but the frontal shot makes them seem more beam-like, when they're always bolts.

In regards to Ingmar Bergman's “The Seventh Seal” I feel people focus too much on the whole chess game with death thing and not enough people are talking about Death literally sawing down a tree to kill a guy on top of it, full-on Looney Tunes style.
Veritably, Absolute Cinema, quoth Scorsese.

I don't think enough people talk about just how good the cinematography in some of Star Trek: The Original Series' episodes was.
Like, it has genuinely great use of lighting and blocking.
