Miss me with that “Marjorie Taylor Greene is cool now” bullshit.

Did an interview with a journalist for one of the country’s largest newspapers almost as soon as I got to Barcelona. He’s been covering books for more than 40 years and told me two authors have left a mark on him with the power of their violence: Jack Ketchum and me. Holy shit. Long live Dallas! 🖤

My “side” is that children should be protected. Oh, my “politics”? They all should have access to food, housing, medical care, and education.

Tomorrow night I’ll be doing an event with @ivanledesma.bsky.social at @gigamesh.com, which is a dream. Stoked to be in Barcelona.

Reading Jim Thompson on the train to Barcelona. My brain told me to bring this one for some reason while I was grabbing books, and I don’t argue with myself because I know better.

Did an event earlier and when I walked out, I saw a line on people in front of a table. My first thought was, “Who’s here?” The line was for me.

My mind and body needed to push some real weight around, so I found another gym. Just like in France, it was a “normal people” gym, so I got ALL the weird looks.

Met, hugged, hung out with, and talked books with my Spanish translator, the great Miguel Sanz Jiménez! This book and I owe him a lot. ¡Un placer, hermano!

Thanks for doing this, Gabino.

I've got two books perfect for #Novellavember. One has romance and family drama, the other has tasteful gore and a little sex.

Which is which? I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.

If you're not going to read a sci-fi detective comedy narrated by a footnoting coffee-machine robot, what is even the point of being literate?
