During the last 24 hours the X-ray flux has dropped below the C-floor and it looks like we're in for a quiet period. Of the four sunspot regions on the Earth-facing disc, none are harbouring the ability to produce big flares.

GONG far-side solar imagery (also known as magic!) shows a strengthening active region (marked "P100") coming around the east limb in a few days.
Keeping fingers crossed it will provide some fireworks!
