🚨 ALBERTA: Bill 11 was introduced today by the Smith government. It brings full-scale two-tier healthcare to Alberta, giving faster access to people who pay while everyone else waits longer.

"Death of the artist" means when Amy Tan says "I did not intentionally put numerological symbolism in Joy Luck Club" you can go "ok but unconscious-you is very clever and it's in there anyhow."

It does not mean "it doesn't matter if JKR is a terrible person."

Turns out this was all much ado about nothing and Google isn’t using your Gmail to train AI and if wanna turn all that stuff back on you can get your spam filters back
Looks like the article has been updated to suggest maybe they misread the policy.

I see people complaining that this also disabled their spam filters, though I still see new messages showing up in spam so it's still working fine for me after disabling things.

I grow frustrated with local news-- by focusing so much on stories of violence, they inadvertently promote the idea that the world is more violent than it is (leading voters to candidates who promise security at all costs).

But holding up a mic to a cow is incredible

The Canadian Medical Association condemns Alberta's privatization of healthcare.

"The evidence from around the world is clear: where a parallel private health system operates, both health outcomes and access to care are worse"

Alberta’s private health proposal will leave more Albertans waiting longer for care: CMA
Doctors across Canada are deeply concerned that the Alberta government’s proposed private care plan will leave more Albertans waiting even longer to access health care.

2. I accidentally uninstalled the game and lost everything

Good morning.

If you live in Alberta, you should know that today your government will invoke the notwithstanding clause to wage war against transgender Albertans.

Not because transgender persons are harmful, but because the UCP is distracting you from their mountain of failures.
