One time I was reading a biography of Victoria Woodhull (first woman to run for president) that managed to be salacious, gossipy and yet boring as hell. I thought, "I wish I had this book, except written by Marge Piercy." Next day I went to the library and, like magic, there it was.

Some group that I and other long time activists have never heard of, no one I know has the slightest idea who is even putting it together, and they won't answer direct questions. Suddenly this mysterious organization is going to pull off a nationwide event?
