I’ve been a former soldier for almost 40 years so I could be a little fuzzy but my recollection around illegal orders isn’t that a service member *can* refuse them but that they *must* refuse them. It’s a duty under the oath to defend the constitution.

Kinda related: saw a headline while waiting in the checkout line that Dummy wants to end the filibuster so they can pass a “clean” CR. Seeing how the plan is to continue fucking America into the foreseeable future, I think this is a GREAT IDEA.

Safeway just now was crazy busy, full of grannies and other folks needing help to get around. Took me a minute to realize everyone is trying to spend up the rest of their SNAP assistance before tomorrow. So that was… sobering.

30 odd minutes juggling passwords and accounts to set up an OFFLINE account for my grandkid on the Xbox, including creating a Microsoft account—that, again, won’t have online privileges—only to be told after all that sweet juicy data has been entered that she’s is in a different Xbox family.
