Trying to verify online when your legal name is a deadname you can’t afford to change is a grind. Forms demand ID that misnames me; help pages shrug. Name changes cost money and time, and until I can, I’m punished for not having a spare $500. I’m trying to exist without being mislabelled.

As the ring turns: our first results are out from the 2018 Event Horizon Telescope 🔭🧪 campaign, and the ring around the M87* black hole has shifted 30°! Congrats to the team! We're not entirely sure what it means but we have a few ideas, stay tuned for the Theory & Interpretation paper coming soon!
