It is not an aversion to the existence of AI. It is how it is being thrust on to us. Brute Forced. Beaten into the masses, without care or regard on how we feel, or how it harms.

It is about hundreds of billions of dollars being invested in boxes to house GPUs we don't even have water and power to drive, at the cost of the already struggling households that surround it.

You pick and choose your battles. Don't ever make it easy. Strike when you can. Speak up in hostile environments when it makes sense, communicate and organize with your coworkers for a stronger voice.

Some people may not appreciate the angle of attack here but, not everyone has the luxury of sacrificing everything they have by leading the charge on an issue. Sometimes, some of us, have to work longer term, more subversive strategies.
