Thank you for everything, school librarians & library workers!

At a loss for words thinking of how you somehow find a way to continue doing your unnecessarily stressful jobs. I have to think your library kids are a big part of why.

Whatever the reason… thank you. We love you, we support you 💛

If I may…

If you’ve put off medical appointments for awhile & can afford it, get that done now.

Just get it out of the way.

Take care of yourself.

We need you healthy.
And who knows what’s to come.

I’m doing this, bit by bit.
I put things off for waaaaay too long.

I will never take a job with Providence again if they follow through on this.

It doesn’t get much lower than this. Aren’t they supposed to be a Christian organization that leads with Love?

While I did receive a call from the Mayor at 7:30 in the morning about this, I was informed the LUCS would be approved within the hour. I hadn’t even gotten to City Hall yet.

@councilorgreen.bsky.social and I kept Mayor Wilson up to date on our Zenith resolution constantly, to be good partners.
This was non-transparent, even to Councilors - I found out through this press release.

This is not good governance.

Portlanders deserve open processes. You did not receive one on the LUCS. An open process doesn't mean any specific outcome, but it would have been more transparent.
