When @dfriedman.bsky.social discovered a Goodreads page tied to the email of a top Pentagon official featuring “Asian wife sharing” books and other pornographic works, he did what any reporter would do: ask the Pentagon questions.

The very next day, a threatening email from Jack Posobiec arrived.
I asked the Pentagon about Pete Hegseth's mentor. Then the threats started.

Costco’s lawsuit stands out not only because of the size of the company involved, but because it illustrates how tariffs actually work—and exposes the Trump administration’s lies about them.

“Trump’s legally dubious tariffs have harvested hundreds of billions of $ from American companies and customers, despite the president’s claims that foreign countries are paying them. Now some companies want that money back.”

Of course Trump’s tariffs are illegal. They’re also economically moronic.

main economic message from
the president is that you will be poorer and you will like it
Trump: "You can give up certain products. You could give up pencils. Because under the China policy, every child can get 37 pencils. They only need 1 or 2. They don't need that many. You always need steel. You don't need 37 dolls for your daughter. 2 or 3 is nice. So we're doing things right."

So the US calls someone terrorists to legitimize their violence against people, and they also call people terrorists to then delegitimize their very lives that we snuffed out.

How bout all the people and children he killed all over the world with horrific glee by defunding USAID? that‘s the only headline I ever want to see by this idiotic hairplug bitch face
Captain Charisma Elon Musk tells Katie Miller he wouldn’t do DOGE again if he could do it all over, claims they stopped “$100-$200 Billion” (wide range!) of “zombie payments” just by requiring a “payment code” and “explanation”🧐

Couple of things here:

1. Trump says he took another cognitive test recently

2. In front of "large numbers of doctors and experts"

3. He called the examinations "long...and very boring"

4. If you're given 3 cognitive exams in one year by panels of doctors, something is VERY wrong with you

What the ever-loving hell is this.
Every part of this is bonkers. The intro is bonkers. The transition to his health is bonkers. The mention that other presidents didn't need cognitive exams is bonkers. The claim that this screening test is somehow hard is bonkers. The idea that criticism of him is treason is bonkers. All of it.

All Trump and MAGA have left in the wake of his crumbling economic policies and numerous scandals is white supremacy and hate.

That's it.

Nothing else.

And America is rejecting it.

Parent of a toddler here.

He is not doing strategy with this rally stuff.

He is agitated and engaging in self-soothing behavior
Trump can go to Pennsylvania, mock the topic of affordability, lie that prices are way down, but that won’t change the trajectory. Holding a rally with supporters laughing along with him about affordability doesn’t make him look any less untethered from reality & the actual struggles of Americans.

This entire grift relies on convincing people that they don't know how to do the things they have always known how to do, and ironically, if it works, we will, in a very short amount of time, forget how to do all the things we have always known how to do.

Deregulation and demonizing the very notion of regulating and holding industries and people accountable is a very large part of why every facet of our lives sucks more and more every single year in perpetuity in America. It will take a large swing in the other direction to get anywhere. Ugh

2025 America: anti-vaxxers are in charge of the CDC and FDA and America won’t even vaccinate its poultry against bird flu. public health disintegration continues on toward undeniably horrific outcomes.

And I jotted down a few thoughts on my substack, including how the strategy of "asking more evidence" — which on the surface, sure, everyone wants more data — can lead to red tape.
