I was just thinking about this earlier.
I'm sure a good chunk of it is just a natural part of getting older, but I find I have become hyper aware of the passage of time since the beginning of the pandemic in a way that doesn't feel healthy.

Does anyone else feel like stress, financial pressure, and political strife have shortened your life? Not in a "I'm going to die sooner" way, but in a "I can only plan to survive a week at a time and there is no future to look forward to" sort of way. It's like...the PERCEPTION of life is shorter.

I've been trying to find a way to mimic 80's-90's anime linework and cell shading. Really trying to get that film and painted look.
To do that I revisited Dragonball Z for fun and a little research. Im very proud of my final product.

i just read something about grief from C.S. Lewis and his book, “A Grief Observed”
basically, when someone you love dies, it isn’t just them that you miss, but the parts of yourself that person brought out of you that can never be brought out again.
