Look for the helpers---this injured bobcat was rescued by a good Samaritan in Pasadena. It was not hurt by the fires, but has a broken pelvis. It's now in rehab and will be reintroduced to the wild. Thank you, Pasadena Humane Society.

I think something we don't appreciate enough as a society is that for the majority of human history hearing a particular piece of music was only possible if you could find someone in a public place/event playing it, owned an instrument/knew it yourself, or were rich and could employ a musician.
