obsessed with this vague notice from the government of Nova Scotia. Like it’s definitely about the new fire restrictions, but it also looks like a poster you’d find yellowed and curled on the bulletin board of a diner in a town where locals won’t talk about their missing kids

What a strange, strange election.

The Liberals come back from complete ruin to form government again.

But smaller parties are weakened and the Conservatives also put up historically strong numbers.

But the Conservative leader loses his seat?!

I just want to take a moment and marvel at the fact that PP was a shoe-in. Everyone was getting ready for a Conservative government. We were gritting our teeth as friends and family talked about voting for him "well, I just can't stand Trudeau" and "the economy"

Just read an article about subtitles as a trend where the guy spent half of it complaining about millennials and the purity of film before finally getting to the actual problem: streaming companies have different audio-mixing standards and most of them aren't anchored to dialogue like they once were

Something super infuriating about using an app you haven't used in a while and finding that the some of features you used it for are now paid only

Christmas came early?!
In the early 1960s, Walt Disney carried the torch of one of humanity's oldest pursuits, the search for mechanical life. The result was Audio-Animatronics, a new breed of robots that would soon populate the world. Watch Disney's Animatronics: A Living History now.

Do Christmas lights that look like the old coloured incandescents exist anymore?

Man I forgot the emotional high that belting out the lyrics to Defying Gravity while driving gives you.

I'm not surprised by the pc win, but I am, as always, steamed that less than 50% of eligible voters actually, ya know, voted

One of my little life curses is that an ex of mine used to refer to my home province as "Scova Notia" all the time, and now my brain repeats it ad-nauseum whenever I see Nova Scotia written out
