my 1st time seeing a wild slug moth! (I've raised a few)
not sure if dying or defensive behavior, but when I caught, it raised its abdoment so high it touched the cup (see the pee stain above). when I tried to release it, it dropped on its side, still curling up, but walked away afterwards.
