Hi everyone, I’m Laura, marker and pen artist, doing a drawing/sketch/cartoon a day for 2025. Watch out for tiny fuzzy monsters! 😀💜
A marker, ink, and paint pen drawing of green stilt grass on a dark green-black background. Tiny fuzzy white creatures are sitting on the leaves of the grass. One of them, top right, is asleep, but the others are staring at you with big round black eyes. What you must ask yourself is, why do they all have antennae? Are you surrounded? How is that one up top holding on? …Will you make it out of the woods if you run fast enough? Do you feel lucky? Well, do ya? A marker, ink, and paint pen drawing of a forest trail end, with grass growing among the trees, and a large rock at the end. To the left is a yellow and black diamond warning sign that reads TRAIL ENDS 500 feet. There is a climbing plant growing up the metal post, and over the sign. There are red claw marks on the sign, a tiny red hand print, and someone has written BEWARE! in dripping red… paint? Small fuzzy creatures with black eyes are sitting at the top of the sign, peering out upside down from the bottom of the sign, and crawling through the grass. One is in the crook of a tree branch. They are all staring at you. Beyond the end of the trail, a giant fuzzy white creature with black eyes is peering around the rock, only partially visible. A parent? There are no answers, only questions. A marker, ink, and paint pen drawing of a smartphone, with two tiny fuzzy white creatures up close against the camera lens, so that a photograph was taken of them. The phone is black, and has a button on the frame. The “photograph” shows both creatures: one fuzzy white creature at the bottom, peering at the lens with one huge black eye, the other screwed shut, and a humanoid pink hand/paw pressed against the lens, and the other with both hands/paws pressed against the lens, with an apparently huge pink tongue in a mouth of sharp white teeth, licking the lens. The background is green-black. The camera focus indicator is in the center, two circles, one inside the other, with a plus sign in the center. A light level with black ruler markings is at the bottom of the picture, with the yellow indicator in the center. Nothing but the phone was found, certainly no sign of fuzzy white monsters, which obviously don’t exist, and can’t have eaten a human! Photos? Panel #1: Two fuzzy little monsters - white hairy creatures with round black eyes, sharp teeth, pink hands and feet, and antennae. The monster on the left is sitting, smiling, relaxed, with their hands clasped over their stomach, and their feet out in front of them. The monster on the right is standing upright, with their hands spread out, fingers pointy, and feet in claws. The right monster is smiling with their sharp upper teeth showing. Caption: DANGEROUS IN LARGE GROUPS… Panel #4: A monster on all four paws on the left, staring at the viewer and smiling with pointy teeth, reaching out one clawed hand towards a ginger cat about four times the size of the monster. The cat (right) is sitting loaf style with their rump to the monster, looking over their shoulder, and glaring. Caption: (MIGHT EAT CATS.). I doodled the last panel’s little beast in my diary, which inspired the four-panel cartoon. The monster reaching for the cat looks to me exactly like a kid reaching for something they know they’re not allowed to touch, staring at their parent the whole time. Hee!

Isn't it! I've been to Cetatea Făgărașului and Castelul Peleș, too, which are also gorgeous, but unfortunately visited during less favourable weather. I've only really seen the Brașov area properly, but there's some beautiful sights there!
