It's possible some of them may fly on Gateway one day. 😊 I hope I get to work with some of them one day! 🚀

Working at NASA, it's pretty cool talking about the Apollo 13 movie 30th anniversary coming up. But what's even cooler is I get to sit in the same meetings (branch meeting, sure, but whatever!) of people who actually worked the real Apollo 13 mission 50 years ago! 🤩

The NASA cuts are so deep. They affect so much science and even the program I'm on (Gateway). I encourage people to take action where they can. This is an S.O.S. (Save Our Science!).

Even as trade, tariffs, borders divide, and other tensions rise between nations, our shared humanity unites us — we are one people, one heart, one earth, one global family standing together in hope and solidarity.
Through this video from the Yukon (Canada), I share joy and hope with the world.

Jean-Luc (my newest kitty) just turned on "Carry On My Wayward Son" on my computer and upped the volume to MAX while wandering on my keyboard. While I can say that raising him is a challenge and he is causing all sorts of chaos in my life, I suppose I can't fault him for his musical tastes!

I just took 2nd place at a NASA JSC Star Wars Trivia game and I feel like this is basically peak geekdom. 😆

Open this image up.

Find the small crater almost at the exact centre of the image.

Spot the small nubbin inside said crater.

Congratulations! You've found Intuitive Machines' IM-2 Athena lander, lying (dead) on its side on the Moon, photographed by NASA's Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter.

Hey Bluesky. I think I may have just been selected to be the NASA Lunar Gateway Mission Design MER System Ops lead. :) (Basically mission design and flight dynamics engineering support for mission control). Yay!

Well, big news. I am planning to move the Space Library to a new home. And I need some help - in 35 years I've never asked for funding, donations or subscriptions for my Space Report, to keep it independent, but now I need to raise some additional funds.

Only 5 episodes into #starwars #skeletoncrew, but I love it so far. If you want to feel like a kid again watching Star Wars, I highly recommend.

Hometown Livermore and LLNL fusion hype! It's been decades since I interned at LLNL, but I still have fond memories during my first year there.

Tough day at work. But it involved laying some groundwork for Lunar NRHO operations, so it was pretty satisfying but tedious. I miss just doing pure physics, and those days are few and far between. Alas! At least I get to make up new orbit terms. If you see "P+" times, you know it was me. ;)

Hello, bsky. I don't have a lot of followers or friends and family here, but I might start using this place a little more as my social media goto since other places are getting... challenging... to deal with. So I hope the few of you who see this likes random NASA/space stuff!
