The irony of two people co-leading an agency related to efficiency tells you all you need to know about this effort.
False. They voted for all of it and they bear the responsibility for holding those they voted for accountable.

We must stop absolving those who voted for candidates who support Project 2025 from the blame they deserve for such a vote.

Ignorance /= Absolution
Brown: In a state of 12 million people, half a million are going to lose their insurance.

People didn’t vote for that. They didn’t vote for higher grocery bills. They didn’t vote for veterans’ benefits being slashed. They didn’t vote for any of this.

Probably time for Americans to be done with the GOP.

It's been 30 years in the making.
Murphy: "The vast majority of Republicans, their number one priority is Trump seizing power, and the Trump family and the MAGA universe holding power forever ... with the exception of maybe 20 Republicans in the Senate, the GOP inside Congress is done with democracy."

There’s a reason so many academics are dismissive of the Trump/Musk/Vivek types and it’s that we’re all very aware of the Overconfident Bro Who Hasn’t Done the Reading But Still Wants to Lead the Discussion

MAGA’s embrace of RFK Jr’s “Make America Healthy Again” is so funny because these same people CRUCIFIED Michelle Obama for daring to suggest that American kids should have access to healthy lunches in school.

One of the big ways to reduce red tape and improve efficiency would be to repeal and replace NEPA with a much better law focused on actually addressing environmental externalities.

The GOP should focus on this in private while being raging dicks on TV about other stuff.

Gonna try another old-Twitter-style thread, since the last one got a lot of engagement. This time about a topic some people have raised, but needs more attention: the likelihood that Trump's tariffs will become an engine of immense corruption 1/
