My dad, 86 knew of the accident and therefore my disability. He knew of the pain, fatigue and exhaustion.
It *really* hit him when he saw our teenage son pull me up from an armchair, and heard me scream when my foot got knocked.
Telling him, and him seeing it were 2 very different things. ⬇️

A quick check for pain is to put a finger service in the passenger footwell, every time you hear it clink, it hurts like hell.
It would be great if all cars were smooth rides, but I live in Northumberland, nothing is smooth here.

It's all moot, I don't use the scheme but there are legitimate cases for the high end cars wanted by disabled people. If they have the money of course.

I don't use the mobility scheme but if I had the money I'd definitely want a luxury model. I have CRPS. The greatest transferred knocks to my leg, therefore causing the least pain was the Mercedes funeral car. Night & day levels of pain. If a car can cause that little pain I'd snap your hands off.⬇️

What annoys me is after 14 years of austerity we get a change and instead of actioning a real change they pick up the Tories book back up and carries on where they left off.

We went to Freiburg in the early 90's. Came so close to dying of sunstroke. F'kin loved the place though. So much culture. So clean. Only thing is I was vegetarian at the time. I didn't know it's the animal fat I reacted to, not the meat itself. Such a wasted opportunity. The food looked incredible!
