I have been a caregiver for my husband since 2008. ACA was unaffordable on his monthly disability payment but not so much that we qualified for assistance. We just declared bankruptcy for my 72k broken leg. And if I get sick,I have no choice but to die. America is a 3rd world country w/ a Gucci belt

Media is going crazy after the gov took bmw and mercedes off the disability car options but this is the realest article I've seen bc yeah, personally I don't understand why you would need one of those specifically for accessibility reasons but ppl do also deserve nice things :/

Looking after my one year old nephew. He took a nasty trip running around & started screaming. His ankle looked dislocated so I called an ambulance & held his leg still trying to keep him calm. Paramedics had to stop themselves laughing when they told me it was his sock twisted

I’m sick and tired of being financially punished for having disabilities. Every employer says they will help you and they but up to a point. Where is the job where I ask for an accommodation and it doesn’t result in me losing money if I utilize taking time off because of my disability.

Don’t know who needs this useful tip for #accessibility but here goes: if you (like me) struggle to open OTC bottles, hit up a pharmacist/tech after you check out. Most techs have a spudger on their workstation thats used to open manufacturer pill bottles, cut paper/foil, etc. But! —
