Just one of many reminders that Frida shared with me when we visited her home.

The only thing Trump has in common with ranching is his ability to produce bullshit. And now he’s left American ranchers the job of shoveling it.

That the response by Republicans to the No Kings rallies was their usual blend of juvenile and low intelligence snark is exactly why we have the No Kings rallies - and also exactly why the rallies are not enough. Time for them to get a lesson on free market economics.

If you think their explaining the Young Republican text messages is a bullshit salad, wait until you hear their explanations after the Epstein files are finally released.

Happy White Grievance Day!

If you have privilege, silence is the same as wearing a red hat. That’s the uncomfortable truth most of us white people would like to avoid - especially business owners and executives.

If you lie about history, you lie about everything else.
Only an administration intent on committing war crimes in the present and future would stoop to calling Wounded Knee a "battle" rather than what it truly was: a massacre of over 250 Lakotas, mainly women, children, and the elderly. 1/

Most people in the US live inside a dimension that feels real because it is all they see. The walls are built from mythology, the light is shaped by inherited systems. What passes across the surface looks like truth, yet it is only a projection.

It is easy to lament the rampant levels of stupidity, cruelty, venality, callowness et al. But the real work begins inward.

If enough of us work on elevating each of these in ourselves and others, then those who run a deficit in these will never be put into positions of power.

I have been struck with something. We all mourn the death of Charlie Kirk. It absolutely was pure evil.

But there have been an immense amount of school shootings… against children.. and the GOP doesn’t show 1/456th of the remorse they demand America shows for Charlie

No one’s calling is to keep things the same. While Trump, extractive capitalism, and Christian nationalism rot the core, business leaders hold the hammer. The Hammer, the Nail, and the Wall is a summons: act, or be remembered for silence.
