Fed chair Janet Yellen was interrupted more often and more aggressively during congressional hearings than male Fed chairs. The evidence suggests that this is neither due to content nor due to the tone of Yellen's communication, but an outcome of sexism.

I cannot say much about the technical discussions on nuclear deterrents.

But from a European integration perspective, it puts a laser focus on decision-making problems.

A nuclear deterrent can only work if there is a single decision-maker who can decide quickly and without committee or veto.
There clearly is a need for a European nuclear umbrella independent of the US given panicked discussions in the U.K., Poland, Germany, France. The choice is as always: a national approach risking proliferation. Or working together. www.theguardian.com/world/2025/m...

Pour financer le réarmement français et européen il y a d'autres solutions que de tailler dans les dépenses sociales et les services publics. Et cela d'autant plus qu’une telle politique pousserait nos concitoyens dans les bras des amis de Trump et de Poutine.
