Bernie Sanders hinted at a break with the Democratic Party in an email sent out earlier today. If this ends up being more signal than noise, this is a significant moment.

It's so sad that Gimlet's "Crime Show" got swallowed whole by the memory hole of the Podcast Platform Wars because they kept it as a Spotify exclusive, and it still is?!

Happy ten year anniversary to this amazing essay from Arthur Chu. The reactionary movement that spawned GG continues to metastasize today, and I've send this article to people so many times over the years. It's still worth a read! If you can tell me if Chu is on here or wherever please do.

The mental image from this Eric Adams quote of starting every day imploring his staff not to commit crimes is very funny.

NYT or WP are covering "campus protests" whereas student media are covering one on their campus. A national story becomes a trend story that flattens the difference between the protests, the people involved, motives, and even administrative response. All of those variances lost in national coverage.
