Made a change recently to spend less time scrolling by using an RSS reader (Inoreader, fi you wanna give it a try). Subscribe to stuff you're actually interested in and keep up to date in one place.

The best thing about RSS is when you've read the new stuff, you've read it and you can move on.

It all started to go downhill with the word 'content', then came 'content creators', and now here we are. It doesn't matter what it is, just put stuff online.

Is there any data on which and how many Americans are registered Republicans? That list, if there is one, will be pretty interesting once this is all over.

There needs to be a study done on Magic: The Gathering. Totally uncool, stupid name, zero influencers, zero marketing and yet…

Well gang, it's happened: OpenAI has built a platform filled exclusively with fake, AI content.

I've been playing with it for a few days, and I think it's safe to say we're basically kissing reality goodbye.

Here's the story: www.npr.org/2025/10/03/n...

Guys, you gotta spend incoming AI money on nuclear fuel and reactor components somebody else can use after their bubble bursts, okay?

It’s thanks to this standard of reporting that I have had a fruitful career in nuclear communication.

I keep hearing about communication folks in the nuclear industry under pressure to deliver higher ‘performance’ while management steadfastly resist and undermine everything they are trying to do.

Dreamt I was on stage and someone asked a pointed question about the ‘controversial UAE nuclear power programme’. I said, “It’s one of the world’s biggest climate actions but because it’s nuclear you won’t hear a single word about it from Greens. It’s actually the opposite of controversial.” So ner!

Tell you what mate, serious FOMO from missing the IAEA International Conf on Stakeholder Engagement for Nuclear Power Programmes.

Instead am in South Africa as a +1 on my wife’s work conference so can’t complain. Also, driving this lil Jimmy has been brilliant.

Long overdue & important. Germany closing its remaining nuclear power stations in the teeth of the energy and climate crises was bad enough. But worse was its messianic attempts to restrict the use of nuclear power in other EU member states.
Lecturing France, w/ its lo-CO2 🔌, was especially galling.
