Bought an OM System Tough TG-7 camera last year partially for its macro #photography. Also because it's nigh-indestructible and I'm clumsy. I still don't know what I'm doing, but occasionally I get some interesting results.

My favorite is the American Alligator. Hunted and driven towards extinction, endangered in the 1970s, now absolutely everwhere in parts of the South. Including one gator that spent a winter sunning in my backyard.

I’ve been blessed by the appearance of the New Year’s Frog. I’d never heard of it, but he assures me it’s a thing. Also that he now has squatter’s rights in my car.

Our local Christmas parade was last night. There were dozens of Grinches but only one Yeti and no Krampuses to be seen. We need to do a better job keeping the cryptids in Christmas.

Some years, I look at my listening history and am surprised to see what is different than my normal tastes. This was not one of those years. Unsurprisingly, a lot of comfortable favorites to survive 2024. #SpotifyWrapped
