Only one of the men is from South Sudan. The others are from Vietnam, South Korea, Laos, Mexico, Cuba, and Myanmar.

Try to imagine being set down and being imprisoned in a country at war with which you have no contact and which is war.
JUST IN: It’s official. The Department of Homeland Security confirms it has deported the 8 men to South Sudan. t.co/WogwiK90PU

Trump on the Texas floods: "It's terrible. The floods? It's shocking. They don't know the answer yet as to how many people, but it looks like some young people have died."

Imagine you have a large user base of sophisticated lawyer-types and you want to swap out their search engine without them throwing a fit. Now imagine that you also have paying search API users that just need to keep working seamlessly. That's the challenge we just defeated.
We're thrilled to share that our case law search engine just got way better. This has been a huge undertaking and it will bring really powerful improvements to the CourtListener research platform and APIs. Happy Thanksgiving! free.law/2024/11/25/n...

Fun little feature just dropped. You can also, of course, use our alert system to get an email whenever there's an emoji in the law. (We do see more emojis in filings than case law, however.)
Omg I now see the “emoji search” feature. Does any other site or platform allow searching an actual specific emoji??!!
