Always remember this picture from the year end Autocar review of the 1981 season (which 11 year old me read cover to cover 18,000 times before the start of the 82 season). You never see pictures like this any longer. Everyone's too guarded.

I had a 1989 Toyota Conquest 16 Valve Sport from 1994-99. I loved that car. I'd wash and polish it multiple times a week. It was such a fun car to drive and I think looked cool too. Nowadays Toyotas are pretty uninspiring and here they seem way overpriced.

I disagree. I once had a t-shirt very similar to this. Many years ago.

I remember a documentary where they were interviewing Helen Stewart and they showed a striking photo she took of Cevert in his car. Couldn't find that pic but I found this one instead. Bless 'em
