Of COURSE Tesla shareholders approved a ridiculous pay package for Elon. It's a meme stock, with performance divorced from any fundamentals. The meme doesn't work without Elon. You can't remove a key figure from a character-centric meme.

In the end, I didn’t get recording and playback finished so I wasn’t able to make them sing, but I did get a first revision of my projection-mapped jack-o-lanterns. Now I have a list of changes to make next year, mostly replacing some Blueprints with C++ and I definitely need a better projector.

This is dead wrong -- speaking out against an authoritarian regime is the absolute core of 1A-protected free speech -- but also, is this REALLY the standard Miller wants to set for when he's out of power? Because all regimes fall.

I just can't get over the side profile. I know, physics puts rules on how small optics can really get; this round just isn't for me.

More progress on the projection mapping project. Time is tight, but I think it'll make it.
1. Tuned settings down enough that it can run on my mini-PC... maybe
2. Rigged 3 more skeletons and set up 2 variants for left, right, and main

Filmmaker David Lynch, who passed away earlier this year, was a massive creative inspiration to many, including me. I recently was fortunate enough to be able to purchase memorabilia of his charitable foundation from his estate auction.

It did not work in final assembly; too fragile and you can only really see the light in side-glow for 1-2 inches with this setup. Reworking the whole thing to be much simpler, new pics next week.

Working on a lighting project. Dunno if it’ll actually work in final assembly but here’s the controller booting and starting to render subtle noise. Doesn’t pick up all that well on phone camera, unfortunately.

My nice, quiet local protest drew a 4-digit crowd. Never thought I’d see a speaker at a protest discussing habeas corpus and the distinction between immigration judges and Article III judges but that’s the world now.
There was a counter protest. It was anemic and tiny and they seemed to give up.
