Trump administration may seek to demolish the HUD headquarters, among several other major federal structures in DC.
Now it’s HUD and Eisenhower buildings. Though the style isn’t to everyone’s taste, it’s forceful architecture as historically noteworthy as any of the classicals. As important—there’s an effective, established process for handling alterations, etc. #accountability www.archpaper.com/2025/12/hud-...

Trying to cut a deal with Trump to preserve Affordable Care Act subsidies,...is both blinkered—what’s the point of making a deal with a compulsive betrayer who can easily renege, with no cost?—and a missed opportunity...

Happy 71st Birthday to Ruby Bridges, who at the age of 6 desegregated the New Orleans public schools.

She’s younger than 30 senators and our last two presidents—and only 7 years older than Barack Obama.

Thank you @kashhill.bsky.social for writing this story. Maria and Matt are my friends, and reading this was like hearing about Adam's death for the first time all over again. I wept reading through the timeline of events that led to tragedy. I pray for peace and justice for this sweet family.
Adam Raine, 16, died from suicide in April after months on ChatGPT discussing plans to end his life. His parents have filed the first known case against OpenAI for wrongful death.

Overwhelming at times to work on this story, but here it is. My latest on AI chatbots: www.nytimes.com/2025/08/26/t...
