If you watch one thing today, make it this. These workers are risking their lives to build our cities and getting paid like their time, safety, and dignity don’t matter. They deserve fair pay. They deserve respect.
He builds our city but the companies he works for treat him like he’s disposable. 80-hour weeks. Paychecks worth what 20 hours should earn. No sick leave. No safety. No dignity.

Baltimore Orioles are seasonal migrants in my area. I look forward to their returning every year and make sure I have plenty of suet and grape jelly for them as they enjoy the warmer climate. I’m sure this cold snap has them thinking “What the heck, Florida?”
