There's zero legal accountability on the part of ICE though. They are completely extrajudicial so them throwing gas at people is on the lower tier in severity for bad shit they've been caught doing.

I want to believe the Freeman Dyson brought up Lebensraum in his Dyson Sphere paper as a bit of dark sarcasm as she explains in the video essay.

I think rather than being this explicit most people will frame it in a more indirect way - 'E.g. other ethnicities get to have their nation state. Why can't we?' as if modern Israel is trying to be something more comparable to Denmark or Germany when it's clearly something much more ethnocentric.

I found it weird when we didn't have an "app/tech bubble" pop 6 or 7 years ago. It felt like people just parked their gains into crypto, then that didn't pop with any effect on the broader economy and the capital shifted to AI. So I think it really is a broader private equity bubble.

On some level I think it's a waste of time engaging with shitty takes like this but idk. We're in a cultural bubble so I'm always left with wondering how much of this is online behavior vs. a genuine way in which some impactful percent of the population thinks.
