Many moons ago I listened to a This American Life episode about a man who went down a rabbit hole to find out the origin of a certain piece of hold music, and I still think about it all the time.

Being obsessed with knitting socks while simultaneously disgusted by feet is a fun dichotomy. Which reminds me, when I was in HS my mom used to tell people I had a foot fetish, and my parents were nuts so I couldn’t correct her malapropism. Good times.
