Stunning finish once again in the Sumo, even after the kyujo annoucement sucked a bunch of enthusiasm out early on.

Ao looks set for greatness, surely only injury can slow him down now. Interesting times ahead.

Just checked. Three of my books, two in English, one in French, are on the list.
Just a reminder to check for your name in this list of books that OpenAI trained from. If your name is there, they probably owe you several thousand dollars.

OpenAI cried that if everyone eligible author files, the company will go bankrupt, so I'm alerting every author I have ever spoken to.

#ncbf done. Plenty of nice beers in show, but @emperorsbrewery again stole the show for me. Trench Run. 14 months in JD barrel. Thick, vanilla, lush.

We're gonna have a new Yokozuna! Never in doubt, tbh. He's gonna be a legend. #sumosky

#Sumo is back this weekend. Onosato to win, and grab the rope?

v4. More complex malt bill, tweaked the water profile, and slightly lowered the mash temp. Boil additions for bitterness only, and some at hopstand. 75% Galaxy, 25% Riwaka, 200g on the DH. Three carb drops per pint. Much rounder body this time, and a little sweet. Peach, grapefruit, passionfruit.

Well done Onosato! You have to think he's going to be an absolute legend.

Feel sad for Takayasu missing out again, but it was a spirited run. Great to see him make it all the way to the end without injury.

Big day today - day 1 of our annual internal tech conference. This time, for its fifth edition, we took the step to host it at an external venue. I think it worked pretty well!

I'm going to the #Sumo in London in October!

Drinking this 2020 Côte-Rôtie from Guigal. Absolutely delicious... Red and dark berries, vanilla, light smoke. It's so juicy up front, but finishes dry with a little chalk. A joy, sip after sip.

You've just got to love Rhône reds!

Pending the official approval by the JSA board on Wednesday's special meeting, he will become the 74th Yokozuna.

Anyone else into high-rye Bourbon?

What's good? Rare breed is my go-to right now. I'm in the UK, but heading to NYC soon so eager to grab something if I can.

Had some success last year when visiting CA - FR SBS and Booker's at a good price. But mostly looking for stuff you just can't get here.
