I'm honestly not really a Cory Booker fan, but what he did today was disruptive. If Trump and his MAGA cabinet are going to do things that are bad for America and the world, then someone needs to disrupt. Good job, Senator Booker.

...and this is why the left loses elections. Because choosing to raise your children yourself instead of letting a stranger making barely above minimum wage do it just isn't "feminist" enough.
If being the sole, largely unsupported provider of childcare and domestic labor is so glamorous and empowering and fulfilling, why aren't men signing up for it in droves?
Being a stay-at-home mom is something that is encouraged or compelled by many misogynist cultural norms and material conditions. But it is not a *feminist* desire or a *feminist* choice. Feminism wants women in the public world.
