They need to not make excuses for Elly's production and figure out why he's so far below where he was in the first half. I think they all know why- he shouldn't have been playing every game this season while injured, but they won't admit to that.

We have to work to give people options. Then we have to work to make sure people are aware of and feel empowered to take those options. I'm oversimplifying, but the path is there, patriarchy or not.

But seriously, the problem in my opinion is not women being homemakers, but as you say, women not feeling like they have any other choice. It needs to be a choice for everyone involved, and we as people should respect the choices that different people in different situations make.

Yeah, I think that is a problem. What we need to get to as a society is where it's truly a choice that a couple makes. For example, in my marriage, my wife and I made that decision together. Or rather, she made the decision and told me how it was going to go. 😂
