It is further galling that the OpenAI deal at Oxford was done without any consultation with the faculty governing body (Congregation) or the College tutors who will be most affected. It went ahead (largely in secret) based on a "pilot" with about 70 hand-picked participants.

No. Eurostar has ordered double deck trains and the first will arrive in 2031. If they ever run to London we’ll see, but these trains will likely go on ex-Thalys routes first.
