Immensely proud to see #ThinkingofYou by 🇽🇰 Alketa Xhafa-Mripa unfold in Strasbourg - where human rights are meant to speak loudest. From Kosovo’s own wounds, this work carries a universal call: to listen to survivors, to break the silence, and to deliver justice without delay.

I was deeply moved to be able to donate a dress for the art installation. Thanks to Amb. Tanja Gonggrijp for the pre-launch event in the @coe.int with HRH the Grand Duchess of Luxembourg & CoE Ambassadors, and to Alketa for making it such a powerful moment of solidarity.

Alketa Xhafa Mripa’s art installation ‘Thinking of You’ is coming to #Strasbourg! In the European capital of human rights, this global project will stand as a profound tribute to survivors of conflict-related sexual violence & a powerful call for awareness, justice, & solidarity.

Great celebration of Kosovo’s 17th Independence Day in Strasbourg w/ DFM @Kreshnik_A & @coe friends. 🇽🇰 independence is a testament to the resilience of our people, who even in our darkest days never lost faith in freedom & democracy, and still remain committed to European ideals.

A historic moment for #Kosovo's democracy! For the first time, 🇽🇰 citizens participate in 🇽🇰 general elections by voting in person at our Consulate General in Strasbourg. Grateful to everyone involved in organizing & to the voters - your commitment strengthens our young state & its democratic future.

You might not think you're in the 1%, but "the richest 1% – about 77 million people, including all those earning more than $140,000 (£114,000) a year – are responsible for more than twice as much carbon pollution each year as the poorest half of humanity."
World’s richest use up their fair share of 2025 carbon budget in 10 days
Emissions caused by wealthiest 1% so far this year would take someone from poorest 50% three years to create

A useful txt to understand this most recent round of escalation by Serbia against Kosovo. We knew Vucic would test the waters again on the use of violence after he suffered no major consequences from the US or EU for sponsoring the Banjska paramilitary attack in Sept 2023.
The explosion on Kosovo's main water line has further strained its tense relationship with Serbia. It comes as Kaja Kallas assumes her role as EU High Representative for Foreign Policy today (many expect she’ll be more critical of Serbia). My piece on the incident: www.politico.eu/article/blas...
Accusations fly after blast hits key Kosovo water system
A detonation on a critical aqueduct comes after a series of smaller incidents in the tense Serb-majority north of the country.
