Mainstream media still doesn't realize that USA is transitioning to universal basic income, funded by the pharmaceutical industrial complex. The sicker you are, the more you earn.
Two weeks ago, I explained on @morningjoe-msnow.bsky.social that you can’t have more than a 100% decline in the price of something. Yet Trump keeps talking about price declines of 500% or more. He may be mathematically illiterate but doesn’t he have a staff?

Only Finns are truly free. Only Finns are the happiest people. The science says this. Surveys confirm it year after year. Please accept reality.

Not many CEOs of public companies could claim that what obviously is a total scam will drive $25 trillion of valuation - and get away with it.

Business idea: a new social network where both the posts as well as the comments, shares, and likes are all driven by AI. No human involvement allowed, except to initially create the account and thereafter follow. AI goal is meaningless drivel to lukewarm reception.

It’ll be called ”Platitudes”.

At the heels of most of the western investments in Russia having been total write-offs, what could possibly go wrong?
"By dangling multibillion-dollar rare-earth and energy deals, Moscow could reshape the economic map of Europe—while driving a wedge between America and its traditional allies"

Read this excellent @wsj.com account of the business deals behind the "peace"negotiations

Make Money Not War: Trump’s Real Plan for Peace in Ukraine
The Kremlin pitched the White House on peace through business. To Europe’s dismay, the president and his envoy are on board.

"Osingoista menee liki 60 % veroa (yrityksen nettovarallisuus on pari läppäriä) ja myynnistä ulkomaille menee veroa noin 18 % (pääomavero + hankintameno-olettama). Siksi lupaavia yrityksiä myydään pois Suomesta niin paljon."

🎯
Talouskasvun esteenä voivat olla liian isot tai liian pienet tuloerot. Suomen Gini-kerroin oli lähellä optimia ennen nykyhallitusta.
Silti kannatan ansiotulojen ylimpien marginaaliverojen alentamista.

Kyle Kingsbury is not a journalist. He is not an op-ed writer.

He is a computer safety researcher.

And he has written one of the most compelling, comprehensive accounts of the ongoing hell in Chicago that you could possibly imagine.

In under 1600 words.

Tesla already has by far the most incoherent product portfolio of any car maker. Diverting resources to yet another hype launch for another non-existing customer base is a great strategic fit.

Before subscribing to any service, I should always try to cancel that service first. When you call ADT's support line to terminate your account, they connect you to a line, which plays 15 minutes of ads and then hangs up. There's no way to cancel from the online portal.

Why not $230 billion? Such modesty!

If I could negotiate with myself about how much other people's money I'm owed, my opening gambit would be a trillion. On the other side of the table I'd go: "Hmm, that's high but not unreasonable".
Breaking News: President Trump wants $230 million from the Justice Department for investigating him, people familiar with the matter say. Any settlement might ultimately be approved by senior department officials who defended him or those in his orbit. nyti.ms/4hmIi5X
