Looking through a list, probably Tails by Lisa Loeb for me. I listened to that album so much I'm surprised it didn't wear away!

I listened to her Stone Blind and LOVED how she can blend all that intricate knowledge of the myths, tragedy, AND a good dose of humor to it all!

Totally tons of paranormals in there for sure! I agree adding that crime-solving definitely is perfection. :D

I think this is actually helping urban fantasy a bit -- the romantasy definition is so loose that some publishers are just taking anything with some romance under the label... but some has definitely just been regular urban fantasy. 😁

😅 I've been getting way too excited about all the urban fantasies popping up!

Oh! And Witch of the Wolves is historical fantasy but there's a thing about it that will make 2000s urban fantasy fans very happy...

I think we're getting back there! City of Others by Jared Poon is my favorite recent one, we've got the latest White Trash Warlock book, and Colin Gets Promoted was quite fun. An Amateur Witch's Guide to Murder was goofy (if gross) fun too. :D

I loving that all her older stuff seems to be getting reprints!

Witch of the Shadow Wood sounds particularly fantastic! And I'm curious about Thirty Love. :)

Which reminded me to see how the library copy is doing... Looks like it's probably due for a rebuy!
