Now that you pretended to stop killing Palestinians, we are going to give you more weapons so that you can keep killing Palestinians.

Suspects of what? Invading Lebanon?

You call this the Epstein War, I call it another example of the American imperialism that we are all too used to.

Epstein is not the root cause, the desire to fill the pockets of some superrich, to buoy the failing US economy by rising oil prices, and to please Rubio's ideological hate are.

When American oil companies are about to make tremendous profits, first by destroying a direct oil extractor competitor, and later by taking ownership of their oil for themselves, it's frankly insulting to call this a distraction from whatever files.
November 16, 2025 at 3:06 PM
Rather than buying, I would say the point is selling.

The US economy is not doing so great, however oil production is reaching record levels. Venezuela is direct competitor in oil production, so destroy the competition and suddenly your own exports become way more valuable.

Western governments are going fascistic; social media is a tool for misinformation, and mass surveillance. Government control of social media could only be described as an absolutely disaster not unlike corporate control already is.
November 15, 2025 at 1:56 PM
Why go for a "least worst" solution of state owned and propagandized social media, when there is clearly a better solution which is open source and federated social media

Heck, even no social media would be a least worse solution than government owned social media...

An example of my claim: fewer workers, higher prices. A business slowly changing from selling cheaply to the masses to focus on consumers with higher income/wealth.

Those with more capital will continue to consume, it's the lower working classes that are being priced out. The economy still works.
Disney has hiked prices and laid off hundreds of workers this year.

Yet Disney paid its CEO $41B in 2024. It just reported a 36% increase in net profits for parks and streaming. And it plans to double stock buybacks next year.

Remember this as Disney turns to AI.
Bob Iger says Disney+ will soon have AI-generated short form content from users

BBC denies or outright endorses genocide in Palestine, gives disproportional airtime to the far-right, and engages in a thousand other unethical journalistic practices and yet this is THE BBC bias scandal? Give me a break...

It's indeed interesting how all these "nationalists" and "antiglobalists" rush to Washington to receive their payments and orders from the American president.

Best we can hope for from America is that their leaders are not as awful as the ones before them.
November 13, 2025 at 11:13 PM
So they are making it harder for the elderly people to fly with them, giving preference instead to the money-tight young people who usually don't buy anything on planes? Considering their business, that really doesn't sound a smart decision.
November 10, 2025 at 9:55 PM
The smart thing to do for the common American, then, is to make the President even more unpopular.
November 10, 2025 at 12:24 PM
I don't understand why they are even bothering. The US just has to say so, that the current Commission will just deregulate everything.

Sorry, but US voters don't exactly have a good record regarding electing good and positive candidates over sexual predators. It's indeed shocking that this was not the case.

Going by car is easier when you have subsidized infrastructure and you can arrive anywhere traveling over the speed limit or park in the sidewalk with no consequences.

Start making the infrastructure and behaviors more friendly to the people and public transports and the car priviledge will fade.

Quite moderate comments, though. Considering the campaign narrative that Trump was salivating for a Mamdani win so that he could take over NYC, I would expect a much more bellicose statement. These seem the words of someone whose bluff was just called.
