I strongly resent that, over a century since its publication, there have been, like, two film adaptations of The Marvelous Land of Oz that have even attempted to address Tip/Ozma at all: a Z-grade, no budget live action thing from the '60s, and a forgettable cartoon, and nobody saw either of them.

He's making an absurd degrowth argument, so I'm pretty sure he's more concerned with the idea that using energy is somehow inherently immoral than with actual physical resource constraints.🤦

It's one of Rumiko Takahashi's favorite character tropes, and it shows up in an absolutely maddening number of her works.

I never read the manga because people who did warned me about this exact thing. His overwhelming presence in the back half of the original anime made me drop that, and I'm told the manga was so much worse than even that. 🤮

I didn't love the later seasons (though I didn't hate them, either). But the first season? Possibly my favorite Trek thing of all time.

No offence but I actually think it's the opposite, some of you have accepted "men are terrible" as such an automatic mantra you no longer react with an appropriate amount of horror at the horrifying. Doesn't exactly convince me you are good at facing emergences of that in your own social circles!
