We'll be in front of his other office today, the day the speed cameras go dark. Would love to have you join us for a few laps of our marathon!

our crossing guards do mission impossible and I am so thankful for all of them, but JFC the fact that we need "Guards" to simply ensure drivers don't run over school children?
This is what is so twisted about our auto obsessed culture that we don't even see how we've completely normalized this.

We also need help manning our table to collect petition signatures and public engagement with folks passing by.

Parents are not going to tolerate this govt taking away a proven, effective, self-sustaining road safety tool in school zones. Taking away speed cameras is a guaranteed death sentence.

Doug Ford's effort to kill speed safety cameras, and essentially ban any road diets or complete streets anywhere in Ontario isn't just a cheap political stunt. It will determine who lives and who dies on our streets. It will get innocent people killed and severely injured. It will shatter families.

This Peer Support Group meeting will be held in Room **375** at 401 Richmond St. The entrance nearest Spadina Ave is the most convenient one to use. The most accessible entrance for anyone with mobility aids is the one beside the Spacing Store.

If you have a battery-powered candle, please bring it, as well as any signs or photos of loved ones. We will provide memorial posters and battery-powered candles, too.

This is about who lives and who dies on our streets. It's about shattered families, and heavy life sentences of devastation, anguish, grief and loss, all of which is so easily preventable.

We can't scream it loudly enough: our provincial government is going to get more innocent people killed. We must remind them what's at stake. This isn't about a few seconds of driving convenience or aggrieved motorists.

Ontario's govt continues to wage war on road safety, 1 year after trying to rip out our complete streets (Bill 212). Now they killed our Speed Safety Cameras (Bill 56), and are about to block any reallocation of road space to implement speed-calming road diets or build complete streets (Bill 60).
