not a milestone of ao3 stats or insights into fic and reader trends, just a nice juxtaposition of digits.

He was crouched, sorting the crayons, when Taehyung appeared at his elbow. “So you don’t like being out front?” “Nah.” “OK. It’s not so bad when it’s slow like this.” “Sure.” “Uh. Can I ask you a question?” Jungkook finally turned his head to face Taehyung, available if not eager to continue this conversation. “What’s the meeting on the 15th? Jimin and Seokjin were talking about it, but it’s not on the calendar.” fic except part 2 Jungkook tilted his head. “Oh, that’s the next polycule meeting, not work related. Found the designer's insta and yes V's team must have rolled the lapels further out and added the (antique?) rope belt. I hope They added an interior clasp! His fidgiting made me worry.

AO3 stats: Hits per Day as fic age vs Hits per Kudos

When a work is first posted to the archive, there is a serge of engagement that gradually tapers down (bigger and slower for long works).

The number of hits between Kudos ALSO TEND to go up as fics age, but not the same way for all fics. 1/
Two graphs reports AO3 stats over time on a handful of BTS fics: While WIPS or in Fest collect, 0-2 weeks since complete, 2-5 weeks since complete, 35-80 days old, and 80 + days old. The graph on the left shows average hits per day, with over 50% decrease in each interval. On the Right is Hits per Kudo for the same ages, with hits between kudos doubling after 2 weeks for two PWP and a Multichapter work and more steady rate for two cute oneshots.

I wonder if this is a mod by his team or himself. There's a shadow of a crease on those shawl lapels with a button hole peaking out, the lapel is wider towards the bottom, and the point of the fold isn't reinforced. Also no belt loops or shaping to hold the belt in place.

Jungkook knew how to read dick prints. He'd practiced on all of his boyfriends. He was so good at interpreting pant lines and squat creases and swing that he reflexively read the structure of everyone's underwear choice for the day and could ID each of Yoongi's packers. (Yoongi-hyung sometimes tested him, for fun but also for the supportive feedback. Jungkook was a tried and true ally.) But some how he couldn't make sense of Taehyung's bulge. The diaper option was hard to dismiss. The bump was pronounced and very stable, almost no lateral movement despite Taehyung's energetic actions and occasional rough housing. And whether for medical or other reasons, Jungkook wasn't going to judge someone for what they wore under their work clothes But the bunching didn't cover like any commercial adult diaper Jungkook could find online. Taehyung's two butt cheek outlines were too easy to track in his fancy dress pants. So until he found someone making diaper thongs for penis-havers, Jungkook had to consider other options. Which were massive schlong in a special restraint sock and/or alien dick.

Looking at the 2024 ao3 census result, searching by fandom and ship tags are more common than following recs, but those in active fandom social networks might behave differently. Also if 80% commented last year, lol half mustn't have commented on more than one work.

AO3 stats surprise: the number of readers for different types of fics.

Two works are currently matched in hits and kudos. One has been up for 5 months, the other was posted for two weeks ago. Only 20% overlapping in pseudos leaving kudos/comments/bookmarks.

What would happen if i posted Taekook?
