Willi Castro, baseball player for the Minnesota Twins used the trans flag as eye black to showcase his support for our community. I hope he realizes how much this matters for trans people. This! This is what I want to see at panels. Q&A’s can get widely out of control- awkward- and sometimes predatory. Appropriate boundaries seem to disappear through all the excitement.
My goal for panels is to keep the cast talking and having fun with each other. THAT is what you all came to see. Q&As are unpredictable and sometimes several minutes are spent just watching us stare at a person who, unfortunately, asked a question we can’t even answer. I want to give yall a SHOW.
Seems like ever since that ONE panel a couple years ago with the live audience Q&A that went horribly wrong (WAY too many spoiler questions and NDA shit) and you jumped in to moderate the second day's panel, you've been a FIRE hostess ever since. Couldn't imagine anyone else with hosting duties! 🔥🔥🔥
