I mean, I might. If it's based on the radio-show/books, then it's an attempt at making sense of the chaos that is reality, so the "immersive" thing could work.

If it's based on the TV show or movie, then it will be a linear narrative with side-quests, which is a thing I hate about immersiveness.

The "no sense of decency" line, sure enough, didn't work on McCarthy. But it worked on a _lot_ of his supporters.

To be fair, "fearing mass firings" is a valid reason. I seem to recall a post-Weimar outfit that did that, and that this administration holds that outfit in high esteem.
