A lot of confusion in this article, calling the vehicle both an ebike and a motorbike. BBC need to train their reporters.
There are calls for a new law to deal with illegal ebikes, but surely they are motorbikes and the laws already exist for the rider and the bike.

Decriminalise abortion and make it a protected human right.
Women’s rights are under threat from the far right. Nigel Farage just called our current abortion provisions “utterly ludicrous” – and others in power are paying attention. A vote in Parliament could finally make abortion a protected human right. We only have a few days to show them: the public backs abortion rights. Let’s make sure they vote on the right side of history.

I was out on a ride with a small group from my club this morning. We met two aggressive drivers, sounding their horn and passing us a great speed.
Can anyone with contacts at the BBC, Mail, Times, Telegraph, ITV etc, let them know that their anticycling campaign is working.

Was it ebikes, electrically assisted pedal cycles, or motorbikes that happen to have electric motors.

The BBC doesn't know the difference or prefer to demonise cyclists.

Just watched the Ultimate Cycling Show on Quest.
I thought it was very messy. A lot of chat between the presenters, but I didn't learn much about the big races this weekend. Not informative or grabbing for non cyclists.

If this is the future of TNT cycling, then I'm glad that I am not subscribing.

Another case where bad driving is treated as an accident. 200 hours community service and a 20 month ban for the driver, who claimed that her vision had been impaired.
Life is cheap unless you are inside a car. Time for serious response to road violence.

Can we stop referring to these illegal vehicles as ebikes, the are illegal motorbikes. If they had a petrol engine there would be no controversy, just prosecutions.

Why are the BBC and the MSM stirring up hatred for cyclists, while ignoring real road danger.

How bad does a driver need to be for a driving offence to be taken seriously?
Drugs, driving onto the pavement, still only a suspended sentence and a 12 month ban.
