Yes. They put the institution on an irrationally high pedestal and if the filibuster goes away, then they I’ll be held even more accountable for not doing… anything.

I do think the fundamental problem is we see the country on the existential brink, and they still appear to believe that there’s still some value in the way they’ve always done things.

I'm not sure there's any actual reason to be a registered Democrat here in CA since we can vote in Dem primaries as no party preference voters.
