This may be way down on the list of things that matter from @booker.senate.gov momentous and historic speech yesterday, but I am so moved by the example he set of elevating all the other people and voices around him, from average Americans to his Senate colleagues past and present. True leadership.

When TB treatment is interrupted, patients are far more likely to develop drug-resistant TB, which is a catastrophe both individually (the disease becomes harder to cure) and societally (we're allowing the bacteria millions of new opportunities to develop further resistance). Many people will die.
