It’s really convenient that YouTube autoplays a random short whenever I open the app because I immediately think “no I don’t want to watch a video this badly” and then I close it and I’m spending so much less time on YouTube now

Gotta start fighting to keep fighting, bucko
Democrats have been fighting for months to address America's healthcare crisis

For the millions who will lose coverage
For people with cancer who won't get the care they need
For working families who can't afford to pay $25K more a year for healthcare

We will keep fighting

I for one have no problem if Dems continue to hold out for demands they know they’ll never get, like impeachment or Mike Johnson letting his son watch an R-rated movie

Goblin coalition take to the streets in celebration
So, when the democrats inevitably abandon trans people entirely, what are we calling our new party? It’s going to be something lIke “the goblin coalition” isn’t it.

If Mamdani’s win is so significant how come my racist conservative uncle who’s never been to New York still doesn’t like him, huh?

Spare a thought for El Presidente who has to figure out a way to deploy stormtroopers to NYC without endangering his own properties

Mamdani connected with multiple demographics but here’s why he should have focused instead on outreach to people who still use the term “Orientals”

Dems being terrified and confused by a clear and decisive win is a little on the nose for a synecdoche of the last 10 years

We call this the “Brujah approach”
Now my PERSONAL preference, if I'm making a character to MY personal preferences (like in solo games such as Bloodlines or Choice of Games, etc)

I tend to then go with 'I fucking hate all these systems and am either going to try to fuck them up or just survive w/in them'

I'm honestly not sure why Elon even bothers with the dogwhistles anymore. Everyone who sees this would have exactly the same reaction if it read "don't vote for the guy who's BROWN ☹️😦☹️ and MUSLIM ☠️⚠️❗☠️"
Elon Musk endorses Cuomo for mayor of New York and makes sure to add some racism in there: “…Mumdumi or whatever his name is.”

The thing that really infuriates me is that this is no-lose for conservatives. Either a bunch of people starve -- which means they deserved to -- or they don't -- which means the private sector is perfectly capable of handling public welfare and the government doesn't need to.

If I understand the proposal it’s “we aren’t saying trans people don’t have rights; we’re saying those rights aren’t worth fighting for” and it’s infuriating some people think there’s a difference

It also took time for me to appreciate Johnny Cash. Specifically, the 47 seconds needed to finish the first chorus of ’Ring of Fire.’
Compared to Dylan and Springsteen, country-music legend Johnny Cash can seem deeply uncool. It took time for me to appreciate his profound, plainspoken strength, writes Jon Fasman.

Definitely both cool and good that every time the man who launches the missiles barks something completely nonsensical we take turns guessing what particular internal spoonerism led us to this, in the hopes we can somehow spin it into something less terrible.
