I did a series of in person, at bus stop interviews across a city and it ran the gamut of socioeconomic circumstances. Without fail, lower income people were willing to pay more to keep or increase the better service...the wealthy areas wanted it free for the convenience of walking on.

Obviously car psyche/brain sucks and needs to go away. But in my work I often find a certain kind of cyclist that is the same brain on two wheels or four and screw everyone else.

Don't get me wrong, by all means troll/counter your local echo-chamber, oops I mean civic association, but the Board notes who shows up in support and that can make or break a project.
